A former professor at the Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas, Tel-Aviv University, Eva Jablonka is a member of the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv, and a Research Associate in the Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Science (London School of Economics, London University). Her main interests are the understanding of evolution, especially evolution that is driven by non-genetic hereditary variations, and the evolution of nervous systems and consciousness. Her books include: Epigenetic Inheritance and Evolution (Oxford University Press, with Marion Lamb), Animal Traditions (Cambridge University Press, with Eytan Avital), Evolution in 4 Dimensions (MIT Press, with Marion Lamb), The Evolution of the Sensitive Soul (MIT Press, with Simona Ginsburg), Inheritance Systems and the Extended Evolutionary Synthesis (Cambridge University Press, with Marion Lamb), and an art-science book Picturing the Mind: Consciousness through the Lens of Evolution (in press with MIT Press, with Simona Ginsburg and the artist Anna Zeligowski).
